My friend Jenn commissioned her holiday cards from me. She said “a yeti riding a sleigh being pulled by dodo birds” so i did just that :)
It might be a little too late now but you can also order them on cards or a print for the holidays too on my Society6 store!
Go! Fight! Dinos! —drawn for the ECCC Monsters&Dames charity art book 2014 but unfortunately didn’t make it into the book itself. Been listening to Crayon Pop a lot and a girl band could totally pilot a mech to fight dinosaurs, just sayin.
Commission for my internet sistar @arch4ngel for a gift! She gave me the concepts and I made the characters everything for a poster in an Adventure Time-like style :D (check it out in hi-res :D)
My entry for the Bioware Fanart Showcase at SDCC! Punch that husk in the face, Shep! I’ve actually had the idea for this in my brain since May or so (hence no shiny new omni blade) and the fanart showcase/contest was a good time to finally do it :)
Colors and ideas were inspired by James Jean’s cover to his Fables Covers book, one of the covers inside, and wearing my n7 hoody while reading it :)
Spot editorial illustration for my buddy @Rogue151's senior thesis newsletter! To go with articles about how science journalism is read less and less.
Editorial illustrations are fun. It also helps that I am crazy and like quick turnaround deadlines. :)
Check out my new collab project: The Arabian Nights Project! Four of my artist friends and I are planning to publish an art book of sorts later this year! Our tumblr is here: http://nightsproject.tumblr.com/ Check out what we have so far over there! :D
This is my first illustration so far: Isa seeing Bahamut, the massive world-fish. Watercolor, watercolor/colored pencils, and gouache on cold-pressed watercolor paper!
