Fanart! I love these guys, so sufficiently creepy and nonsensical. With Dark Souls II coming out next month, I’ve picked up Dark Souls again.

My bff Cindy is on tumblr now! She’s an awesome artist, go check out her stuff :3

Part TWO of TWO: the lovely Reg/skiesovergideon commissioned me to design some stuff for her “Girl Engines” book recently. These are the “plugsuit” designs the girls wear while in the engine and while performing so it was a good exercise in making an armored bodysuit that could protect their insides while making it something you’d also see a singer perform in. (I think my favorite one is the asymmetrical #2)

Part ONE of TWO: The fantastic Reg/skiesovergideon commissioned me to design some stuff for her “Girl Engines” book so I took it as a chance to try some different things and do a semi-painted look while meshing a lot of different characteristics from references she and I gathered. It was fun and a big TY to Reg for letting me experiment with her characters :) (In order, the characters are Emily, Jian, and Dr. Sidon)

I saw these Japanese cat guides on kotaku a while back and then i really wanted to draw them in furisode/kimono and then i did the end.

Garrus poster! You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi. Part three of three for a series of posters I’ll have at Emerald City Comic Con and future cons this year.

Liara poster! She Blinded Me with Science by Thomas Dolby. Part two of three for a series of posters I’ll have at Emerald City Comic Con and future cons this year.

Badass Tali’Zorah poster! The lyrics are from one of my favorite 2NE1 songs, Can’t Nobody. Part one of three for a series of posters I’ll have at Emerald City Comic Con and future cons this year. In my shop after March.

Sketches from my twitter in the past couple days, using prompts from @sketch_dailies

wasn’t gonna do today’s #sketch_dailies theme UNTIL a friend suggested I do a version like this and then I HAD to do it. Jessica Rabbit but lending to the war effort as a riveter, based Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter

The next time you have an orgasm, someone you care about will die.

100 Percent Meme stuff! I saw this floating around and here’s some recent stuff at 100% sized.

The first three were all created for print so they’re usually done at 100-120% of print size at 300 dpi, sometimes resized smaller to smooth out detail. The bottom two i intended only for the internet so they’re usually 8.5x11in at 150dpi which makes them ok for the internet but they still print out fine

2013: I dont like taking photos of my face but i actually did this year here are some good ones

Stuff that is missing:
-JAN: THANERANDA
-FEB-MAR: all the ME art i did daily as a challenge that all turned out in different amounts of “oh ok i did great for once”
-MAY: I did some background work for a game company. Their games are for rehab patients treating brain trauma and cognitive therapy. You can buy the game here for Android: Treasure of Bell Island (and it’s on itunes as well)
-July-Aug: there was a lull here which i attribute to lots of mental stuff but i did do some stuff i can’t talk about yet AND i’m pretty proud of the cosplay stuff here
-Sept-Oct: I was one of many people who worked on a proposal for the Smut Peddler anthology. Didn’t get in BUT going back to comics kind of woke me out of the mental place and now I really want to go back into them
-Nov-Dec: I worked on a proposal for the Beyond anthology (both with @ritzyfoxx) about a queer fantasy thing and we’re still waiting on that BUT I’m going to bring them to a finish to have available by March :)
Things that were fun:
-I had a great time at Fanime, E3 and PAX Prime
-I played CAH on my friend’s podcast! (they also named an episode after me for no reason)
-Cosplaying was fun and no regrets other than wallet related ones.
-Playing 13thAge on our forum with my friends helped a whole lot creatively with writing AND worldbuilding
2013 was a pretty off year in a lot of places— I’ve been dealing with stress in a lot of places, I’ve had mental issues that made me concerned, and I’m going on +1year of being unemployed/consistently employed. But things have been slowly improving more and more, lots of doors opened and it’s slow goings. BUT i met so many good and awesome friends and people, 2013 wasnt so bad.
My hope is 2014 opens many more doors and everything keeps going forward. I’m already excited to get into more webcomic work to post up in the new year and maybe a couple of gallery shows, who knows. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
